What is UALR International Club?
UALR International Club is a friendly organization, designed to bridge and strengthen relationships between the international students and greater UALR populations. The club provides opportunities for cross-cultural interaction and stress the importance of appreciation and understanding of cultural diversity throughout the campus and the community.

How can I get involved?
There are several ways you can get join our club.

  • Via email
  • You can send us an email expressing your interest to be included in our contact list. Please include your full name and your contact information within the email.

  • Get in touch with one of our officers
  • Say “Hi!” if you see one of us on campus! We can get your name and information and include you in our contact list.

  • Stop by the OIS and ask for information
  • The Office of International Services (OIS) is located in the
    Education 101 Building. Their office hours are M-F from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Do you have to be an international student to join?
No! We welcome all students of UALR who are interested in different cultures and wants to share your experiences with us!

How do you become an officer?
The officers are elected by the club members at the start of the Fall semester. The officers will then hold their position for 1 year.

How often does the club meet?
We usually meet once a month to discuss the upcoming activities. For more information, please view our Calendar

Is there a membership fee?
Nope! It’s free! Donations are welcomed!
